MAKING OF FRAME FOR TIMBER FRAME HOUSES.

We make timber frame and log house constructions, as well as certain wood construction elements both for newly built houses and renovation using the master carpenter methods – bulky beams, traditional joinery, decorative and esthetic construction elements. Most of wood architecture monuments are built in such technique, and it is a proof of this building methods real value and long-life existence. The frame being the main component of wood building is the “backbone” of the whole house. The frame provides its durability, appearance, proportions and compliance with the project. The rest of building elements will be fixed to it and it will support all of them. Execution time of building jobs and a successful final product will largely depend on the quality of frame. Therefore we recommend to involve professionals when making timber frame for a wood building. We offer to make timber frame constructions including their assembly. Each part of the frame construction is made according to an engineers drawing and to an approximation of 1 mm from throughly selected, properly seasoned and planed materials.

Course of work:

1. In order to start work on a construction it is necessary to have a sketch of an intended building which is the base for working out a sketch project of the timber frame and cost calculation of the price for making it. You can either choose our building sketches from the standard projects or order to us individually designed building sketches, or have your own architects developed sketches or projects.

2. If we come to an agreement as to the dimensions, appearance and the costs of the building, we prepare a contract on making the timber frame and its assembly.

3. An appendix is attached to the contract – the sketch project of timber frame construction which precisely and clearly states the volume of the jobs have to be done. A foundation plan is also attached whose building is the responsibility of a wood construction customer.

4. Technology. In order to provide a high-quality building construction, a digital 3D model of the timber frame is worked out. In its turn, a drawing is prepared for each building element and then making of the corresponding element starts in a workshop.

5. Careful selection of the materials, their proper seasoning and calibration guarantee a precise final result. The surface of exposed elements of timber frame is sanded and colored applying the best wood preservative materials.

6. Finished parts of timber frame are packed for transportation together with the assembly drawings on which the whereabouts of each element in the construction are shown, as well as the sequence of their assembly.

7. When all parts of frame construction are packed, their transportation and assembly on the building site may start.
